Amanda and Chase started dating on October 16th, 2021, about a week after Amanda's friend introduced her to the dating app, Hinge. They first met at Taliza Coffee in Santa Fe Springs, CA where they hit it off and decided to continue the date by having a contest on who could eat the hottest chicken at a local chicken restaurant. Amanda and Chase went on a few more dates including the Pike in Long Beach, and to a Groundlings show which is still one of their favorite date spots to this day! On October 30, 2021 Chase and Amanda decided they wanted to officially start dating and became engaged exactly one year later!

Chase proposed to Amanda on a trip to Big Bear Lake, CA on October 30, 2022. Chase decided he wanted to get up super early that day and take Amanda on a very strenuous hike. Amanda was suspecting something suspicious was going on since Chase is not the hugest fan of hiking, and hiking is one of Amanda's favorite hobbies. Once they hiked close to the top, Chase pulled out his phone and asked Amanda to read a message. At the end of the message it told Amanda to turn around and that's when Chase proposed. Right after the proposal Chase and Amanda discovered a bench with an older couple on it. The couple told them they got engaged on this exact hike a few years back. Both Amanda and Chase excitingly told them they just got engaged on this exact hike today! The couple then offered the bench to them to enjoy their special moment.
